Tryout Location: 4221 Black Bridge Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348
14 and UNDER - 21 September 2024
1:30pm to 3:30PM
15 and OVER - 21 September 2024
11AM to 1:00PM
Tryout Cost: *$35 for Early Registration.(Walk Up Fee is $50)
All those camps and clinics are great - but this is the real thing - playing on an Evolution club team, wearing the Evolution uniform, bonding with teammates, and experiencing real match play. Over the course of a whole season, athletes get so much instruction and experience with match and tournament play, that playing on a club team is actually a great value considering the number of contact hours. There's just no substitute for the experience and FUN of a season of club volleyball!
The registration fee for tryouts is $35 in advance, Walk-ups are welcome but will pay $50. This fee includes a CEVC T-shirt.
WHAT TO BRING
At tryouts, you will need to bring a copy of all requested forms as outlined above. Athletes should wear comfortable athletic attire including athletic shoes. Volleyball-specific attire is not required, and athletes will be given a T-shirt to wear during tryouts. Kneepads are optional but most athletes prefer to wear them. Each athlete should also have plenty of water in a sealable water jug or bottle, labeled with their name.
Boys and Girls Volleyball: The "tryouts" are actually an evaluation of the player to determine which level team he or she will be placed. If your athlete can not make these dates, please contact us and we can do an individual tryout evaluation at a later time (case by case basis). We want to develop and train as many athletes as we can to grow the sport of volleyball!
Please ensure you fill out our Tryout forms. TSHIRT is included with tryouts, sizes are not guaranteed.
*The Early Bird Registration fee for tryouts is $35 until August 10th, Walk-ups and all others registering for tryouts after August 10th will pay $50. This fee includes a CEVC T-shirt. Of course the further in advance you register, the more it helps our club plan for tryouts, so please register your athlete as early as possible.

Tryout Dates by Age Eligibility for 2024-2025:
USA VOLLEYBALL JUNIOR PLAYER AGE DEFINITION For use during the 2024-2025 Season
Once a player participates (including but not limited to practicing, training, attending workouts and/or competing) in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he/she is ineligible to take part in any regional and national programming, which includes but is not limited to national JNC qualifying and championship events.
18 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006 OR Players who were born on or after July 1, 2004 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the current academic year
17 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
16 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
15 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
11 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
10 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
9 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2015
8 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2015
**This will be the age group with which a player will initially try out.

In this 30 week program, athletes will participate in two 2-hour practice sessions per week led by Evolution Volleyball Instructors with the support of Evolution Volleyball Positional Coaches.
